No - for it to be a 'true' sprite, it has to be made by hand, pixel by pixel. Takes a long time...

If anyone was wondering, I've still been making some sprites. I'll post a few of 'em in here for you guys to look at. Some of the ones I made a re 32x32 px, but I stopped making them that small because I could never fit anything into the area.

Anyways, here're some sprites that I've done. Note that these are all sprites that I did a while ago, so they are not as good as what I can do now. Here they are:

If you want to know what the stone texture looks like tiled, feel free to save it to your computer and set it as your desktop background. That's how I test to see how well the textures tile, and it's very helpful.

EDIT: This is a sprite that I just did today (1-6-07), and it took me about 2.5 hours. Most of the time was spent on trying a new shading technique, then erasing it all (just the shading, not the actual sprite) when I realized I was being inconsistent with it, and would not have enough room/patience to do the rest of the sprite like that.
